  
Whatever your reason for learning Italian we have the resources and the knowledge to make sure you reach your goals. From our initial meeting with you, our language assessment and through to delivery and you actually using the knowledge, our structured approach and close interaction with you help you to have the best language learing experience you can. Language schools are not really any different from any educational institution – a good place to learn is one where there are good facilities, a well organized syllabus and teachers who can motivate and inspire you. UIC is a Language School where you will have all these things. We have been involved in teaching English as a foreign language for over 30 years and have been able to bring the best things from that experience to teaching Italian. Our Italian classes continue to be extremely successful - a testament to the support and quality of teaching and also to the planning of the experience.
When you first approach us you will be given a level test so we can place you in the best class (unless you are a complete beginner). Your teacher will then involve you in the whole process, so whether you are in a class and getting homework or having a highly individualised programme you will be certain to benefit. A maximum of 12 students per class gives plenty of opportunity to practice and also for the teacher to help and correct. Homework and self study are an important part of the process.
