• 2 weeks English Language course + work placement for 26 weeks + 1 week Business English Course

This course is designed for students who want a Cambridge certificate to prove they are capable of succeeding in an English speaking working environment. The course consists of two weeks study, a paid work placement in the hospitality industry with assessment, then a return to UIC for a Business English class drawing on your experience.

This certificate recognises what you have achieved during the placement using reports from the company and yourself.

You must do a minimum of 2 weeks study prior to work placement. You may choose from any of our English language courses but you must be of Upper Intermediate Level to be offered a work placement.
