If you are in your late teens it probably feels as if you have spent your whole life with Harry Potter – and now the last episode of the film is out that is coming to an end. The first film was released in 2001 – following the publication of the book by 4 years. Ever since then we’ve grown up with Harry and his friends – and if you are 19 now you really will have spent your teenage years doing just that. The last film is released today – so do go and see it, I’m sure there are enough entertaining effects in the film even if you don’t understand all the English, but then there’s a great opportunity to carry on with your English Studies at UIC! And just in case you wondered (or even cared) about what happens next – (and can’t wait to see how the film ends) there is an alternative ending to the film on YouTube where you can look into the future!
If you want to see some of the places where the films were made then it’s easy enough to find them – Harry Potter locations and you can find a few in London – Diagon Alley (Leadenhall Market), Gringots Bank (Australia House) and Platform 9 3/4 (Kings Cross Station)
Have fun!
