One of the great things about the UK is that you can go anywhere in Europe very easily by train or plane. It is not expensive for students to travel throughout Europe. Here are some tips to find cheap flight tickets throughout Europe:

1. Student Discounts
Most traditional airlines offer discounts to students. When checking airline prices on the phone or internet, ask if they offer a discount for students.

2. Book Early
To get the cheapest airline tickets you need to book your flight early. If you book late you will probably pay a more expensive price.

3. Standby Seats
You must ask about standby seats in person and not over the phone. If someone has bought a ticket and does not show up for the flight then you can fly ‘standby’ in their seat for a much lower fare.

4. Try to get everything bundled into one ticket
Most airlines offer travel packages that include airfare, rental car, and hotel fees all bundled into one. You can typically receive a decent
discount if you purchase a travel package.
