Arabic is spoken arcoss a huge area of the world - from Moocco across North Africa into the Gulf. This region is home to a large population and Arabic is now one of the most widely spoken language sin the world. With the cultural background and importance Arabic - across the world as well as in the region - it is certainly one of the most important and useful languages to learn. In our Arabic courses we teach Modern Standard Arabic which is the variety used in most current, printed Arabic publications, spoken by some of the Arabic media across North Afrca and the Middle East, and understood by most educated Arabic speakers. Although there are varieties of spoken Arabic - different accents and expressions, this is not a problem. If you need to learn Arabic with a very particular dialect we can always find teachers form that region or country.

The Arabic course syllabus provides a relevant structure and the lessons include a balance of conversation, listening, pronunciation and grammar to help you learn – whether survival on a holiday or at a more sophisticated level. You will have a text book and the teachers use up-to-date and interesting materials including TV and the internet along with a communicative methodology which will get you actually practising the language and developing fluency – almost without noticing. In our Arabic courses, grammar and the more formal aspects of the language are covered as much as possible by using practical situations - speaking and actively using the language is central. You will also be set weekly homework.

Our Arabic courses have a maximum of 14 students. Programmes run consecutively so there is the opportunity for continuous training, allowing you to progress and move up to a higher level once a course is finished.

Deciding where to learn Arabic is not necessarily easy, but we are one of the biggest Language Schools in London and have many many years experience. You can call us anytime between 9am and 8pm.

We can also help you find schools in the Middle East if you have the time to travel.

The minimum age for our Foreign Language courses is 17 unless otherwise notified.

At UIC we have the experience to help you achieve your goals - whether you want Chinese for a holiday or for professional reasons we can help you get there.

UIC is a language school in the centre of London - we currently teach 9 different languages including English to around 500 people a week. We are accredited by the British Council and ISI (the private school equivalent of OFSTED) and are one of a very few schools - perhaps the only private language school - who have their Foreign Language teaching inspected. We are also an award winning school, we are the only language school in the world to have won both of the major awards - the STAR Language School in Europe (voted on by travel agents worldwide) and the British Council ELTon award for innovation in English Language Teaching.

So, great location, award winning, accredited and inspected and we directly employ and manage not only all the teachers but also the buildings and the curriculum.
