Our homestay accommodation is arranged by our partners Hosts International. This is one of only two accommodation agencies officially accredited by the British Council so you can be certain the quality of the house and the service is excellent. The homestay families are grouped into the following categories:
Standard homestay
These families are situated in a suburban location in Zone 3 and 4, usually within walking distance of a tube stop. Options are Bed & Breakfast or Half-Board (breakfast and an evening meal).
Superior homestay
These homes offer facilities of a higher calibre in zone 2 or 3. Locations are closer to the city centre and offer the same meal options as standard homes. Rooms can be larger or twin rooms shared with another student of the same sex.
Executive homestay
These homes are situated close to the city centre in Zone 1 and 2, within easy access of the school. Many with en suite bathrooms, some have a private lounge and even a kitchen. Bathroom facilities are sometimes shared with one other student. Again these homes offer the same meal options as standard homes.
What are the different types of homestay accommodation?
The difference between standard, superior and Executive is travelling time and quality of accommodation. It is not necessarily about zones. It is possible for a homestay in zone 3 to be nearer the school in terms of traveling time than a homestay in zone 2.

If you book accommodation and want to move this is usually possible, but not always. In some cases (with some hostels and Student Houses) a booking cannot be changed and if cancelled you may have to pay for the whole booking. We will inform you if this is the case before you make your booking.
