The School

UIC is situated just a few minutes from Oxford Circus underground station in Central London, an ideal location for enjoying all the sights of the city. Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square are all with walking distance of UIC. Our students come from over 50 different countries, including British students studying one of the many foreign languages that we teach.

We also share some additional facilities in the same building with international students studying for degrees and masters programmes in London at an associate college - giving further opportunities to our students.

The Staff

The teachers at UIC all hold qualifications in teaching English as a foreign language and have a wide range of teaching experience in the UK and overseas. Only teachers with a background in business teaching or examination preparation work on our specialist programmes.

Our administration team speak a number of different languages and are available throughout the day if you need any help while you are here, or if you have any questions before you arrive. We pride ourselves on offering outstanding customer service before, during and after your course of study.

Your Welfare

We understand that sometimes living in a foreign country is not easy, even for a short time, and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible. We can arrange your accommodation for you (with families or in residences) - and someone to meet you at the airport. We have a busy social programme including sports as well as cultural and social activities.

On your first day, you will receive an introduction to the college and be given information to help you make the most of your time - both studying at UIC and living in London.
